Slowly and steadily, Housing Authority Insurance Group is making headway in its Legislative Affairs effort.

On October 31, the housing industry stakeholders brought together for a pair of summits this summer released their final paper, The Future of Public Housing. It was signed by 37 groups and individuals and was sent to the transition team for the President-elect, Senator Barack Obama.

HAI Group Vice-President of Legislative Affairs Brian Braley said, “Now that that work is done, public housing authorities are also being invited to sign on. Now the real work begins.”
