HTVN is offering online Tax Credit Compliance Certification. It begins October 1 and concludes December 27, 2008. This 16-part certification, developed by Quadel Consulting to help agencies maintain IRS and HUD compliance, includes updates to the Housing Recovery Act of 2008. It is recommended for staff members responsible for completing and overseeing the LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance process, including site managers, regional property managers, and asset managers. Some topics covered are first-year leasing, income limit and annual income, eligibility factors, verifications, and compliance. Registration starts October 1.
