Asset Management Certification on Tap for Spring
HTVN is offering the Asset Management for Public Housing certification (AMC) again, and it starts this May. The 16-part seminar was originally developed by Quadel Consulting and offered last August. This online certification helps agencies make a successful transition into asset management, understand its organizational focus, and successfully implement it into their agency. Staff members involved with their agency’s conversion to asset management will gain valuable information from this certification.
A certification called Building Performance Excellence starts in April. It focuses on handling tough leadership challenges, motivating staff, creating teams, developing low performers, retaining star employees, overcoming conflict, and inspiring excellence while increasing your agency’s productivity and strategic goals. Send in a brief description of one of your agency's best practices in one of these areas: Building Employee Engagement, Creating Effective Roles and Goals, Developing Employees, or Recognizing and Rewarding Achievement and win a free registration to the certification. Managers at all levels, from directors, team leaders, supervisors, and any leader responsible for the daily management of people, are encouraged to attend.
A three-part series called Large Losses – Lessons Learned is now available online. This series covers an introduction to the claims process, liability claims, and property claims. Several case studies are analyzed and the liabilities are discussed for each. This series was developed, in part, by HAI Group’s Claims and Risk Control and Consulting departments. |
