HAI Group annually recognizes innovative achievement in public housing risk control. The Housing Authority Risk Retention Innovation (HARRI) Award is given to the member who has developed a unique, different, or creative risk control effort.

A theme is chosen annually and an informational flyer and registration form are mailed to all HARRG and HAPI members. The 2008 theme is “Get in Gear, HARRI’s Here.” Program entries should address liability prevention, fire prevention, crime control, resident safety education, or employee injury prevention. This year the deadline for registration is May 2, 2008. Winners are awarded a plaque and are recognized at the Annual Meetings in September.
